Artist Bio

Gabriel Ingliss, violin

Gabriel lngliss, 16, enjoys playing both the violin and piano and has performed as a concerto soloist on both instruments. He was invited to play Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D with the Symphony Orchestra of the Obenbergischer Kreis at the 2018 Lindlar Piano Festival in Germany. As a winner of the New Mexico Music Guild’s Jackie McGehee Young Artists Competition on both piano and violin, Ingliss performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 1 in 2022, and returned in 2024 as a soloist in Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. In 2025, Ingliss played with the Santa Fe Symphony as the winner of the orchestra’s young artists competition. He currently serves as an Apprentice Artist with Santa Fe Pro Musica. Ingliss studied at the Lamont and Meadowmount music schools, La Mariposa Montessori School, and the University of New Mexico, and is currently a member of the Santa Fe Preparatory School class of 2026.
