Daniel Strebulaev, 16, is enrolled in the Pre-College Division at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with renowned pedagogues John McCarthy and Professor David Conte. A laureate of numerous piano performance competitions, Strebulaev has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall, and has appeared as a soloist with the Moscow Youth Symphony and Palo Alto Philharmonic. He has composed works for solo piano, chamber ensembles, and orchestra. His music is featured in Thumbelina Ballet (Osipova Ballet Academy), an award-winning student film, and two animated shorts. He is a winner of the Pacific Music Society Composition Competition for A Night in Lisbon: Fantasia Symphonia, inspired by the eponymous novel by E. M. Remarque. Strebulaev was named San Mateo County Youth Cultural Ambassador and served as a delegate to the 2023 United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum for his Music for Peace initiative.
